I
first studied dance at age six, in Southern California at the Fred Totten
Dance Studio. Some years later I became a dance teacher after moving to
Northern California.
An avid modern dance student in school, I graduated from Sacramento State
College with a Minor in Modern Dance. I began dancing Middle Eastern
Dance in 1983 and was a featured soloist in the San Francisco Ethnic Dance
Festival in 1985.
From 1998 - 1999 I danced professionally at Cafe Gibralter, Montara with
the troupe Bahar Al Amar as well as performing solos and in troupe at
festvals and other popular venues.

I am always excited about learning
different forms of dance and recently studied Hawaiin Dance at Hula Halau
'O Ku'uleinani in San Carlos. |
