Here are some links to other belly dance related sites, listed in alphabetical order. Some are dancers' sites, others are selling costuming. I have given a brief critic of each site to save belly dance web surfers like yourself some time and help lead you to the more useful sites. I do not profit by posting these links and do
not endorse the products or opinions stated on any of these sites.

On the surface, this web site holds a lot of information, but after clicking around I discovered many broken links and sites out of operation. There is still some good information but this site is obviously not well maintained

www.bellydance.com
This is the web site of Alyne Hazard a warm and vibrant belly dance teacher from San Jose. Alyne's site is mostly about herself and her classes in San Jose, CA but also holds some snippets of interest to read, such as Women's Wisdom and Vegetarian Lifestyle. She has a particularly well arranged calendar.

www.Bellyroll.com
A web site from the beautiful island of Maui, predominantly costuming. Well thought out and well designed. Not a huge selection of costuming but a nice line of hand dyed silk veils.

Nice website. Kajira Djoumahna celebrated teacher of ATS (and her troupe) the originator of Tribal Fest held in Sebastapol CA in May.

www.dragonflymoon.com

www.shira.net
Once a local teacher, Shira has now moved to Iowa where she teaches Belly dance and still hosts her interesting website. Shira.net has a bevy of information regarding costuming, reviews of music and videos, glossary of terms, etc…This site is so large that you might consider first going to the website map to get oriented and decise where to go next.

www.ShimmyShimmy.com
This site is worth a visit. Contains lots of costuming ideas laid out in a very user friendly format.
